1) Gas-Export Tie-In EngineerACTIVITIESThe Gas-Export Tie-In Engineer will be eventually responsible for identification and delivery of all required spare-parts to enable UFR Contractor to do that connection. He will also supervise Project's UFR Contractor in its relevant scope of work. The material shall be sourced from Surplus in accordance with SPS/ DW-ECP frame agreement requirements; the spare-parts shall meet the technical requirements of sister project's ITA. The delivery schedule shall meet the requirements of project UFR fabrication and Installation, ensuring that all aspects of the EPCI works are accounted for in due time. This means:
- Interfacing with DW-ECP for the supply of the spare-parts, checking the Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities performed by SPS Contractor of DW-ECP.
- Following up the Design, Assembly, Installation and Pre-commissioning activities related to the Gas-Export closing spool to be fabricated and installed by Project's UFR Contractor and managed by UFR inspection, construction and installation teams.
To meet this objective, the Gas-Export Tie-In Engineer will be in charge of:
- Reviewing all relevant Engineering / Qualification / Procurement documentation, ensuring the adequate level of priority is given.
- Ensuring that Engineering / Qualification / Procurement and pre-commissioning activities are performed in line with Contracts requirements and Project Specifications, all within project schedule
- Ensuring that Engineering / Qualification / Procurement and pre-commissioning activities are performed in line with COMPANY General Specifications.
- Ensuring that design and qualification outcomes/ constraints are adequately considered in due time for Procurement, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Installation and Pre-commissioning, and vice/ versa
- Ensuring that for the Manufacturing and Fabrication of critical items, ITPs are reviewed in due time by the relevant parties and are given the right level of attention
- Assisting Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Installation and Pre-commissioning activities and leading the resolution of technical issues when necessary. For that purpose several stays at SPS work shop, UFR fabrication yard and offshore shall be planned.
- Ensuring that HSE requirements are taken into consideration during design
- Getting assistance from dedicated UFR Team specialists (such structural, material & welding, corrosion & coating, etc ...)
- Getting assistance from COMPANY specialists, or third parties, if required, for specific topics
- Providing inputs to contract correspondence, as necessary
- Issuing reports and presentations, as necessary
- Participating in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews,...) and ensuring implementation of recommendations as necessary.
HSE- To ensure that all safety and environmental required studies will be reviewed/ updated and that final design will comply will ALARP policy.
- To ensure that design will comply will all HSE requirements and that Safety and Environment dossiers will be provided to National Authorities in due time.
ACCOUNTABILITIES- Reports directly to the UFR Installation and pre-commissioning Lead Engineer
- Accountable for the delivery of the Cameron connection spare-parts, in accordance with Contract requirements, in particular technical/ HSE requirements, within schedule and without undue change to the scope
NECESSARY PROFILE- Graduate degree in piping engineering discipline MANDATORY (copy of diploma to be provided) with MSc or equivalent. Pending experience candidates with BSc may be also given consideration
- Junior Engineer with a prime experience in sub-sea fabrication work, including development of detail design specifications, follow-up of fabrication, pre-commissioning and installation activities.
- Good knowledge of international design standards and COMPANY general specifications
- Good sense of organization, ability to prioritize activities, to identify critical aspects, to propose way forwards, to lead specialists or third parties, to summarize and present complex interface matters
- Some basic knowledge in structural work will be also valuable
- Some basic knowledge in material, corrosion, coatings will be also valuable

2) QA/QC Leader
ACTIVITIESThe UFR QA QC Package Leader will report on daily basis to the GM for UFR Packages. The role will also have a reporting line to the Project's QA/QC Manager. He will be eventually responsible to ensure that, for all UFR packages activities, Quality Assurance is given the right level of attention throughout all phases of the project and is properly implemented by all involved. This means:
- Developing all UFR Packages QA QC processes in accordance with Project's QMS and COMPANY quality surveillance requirements and ensuring that all such QA QC processes are implemented by UFR Packages team personnel for all aspects of the work.
- Ensuring Contractors QA QC processes are in accordance with UFR contracts requirements by monitoring and auditing the performance of the Contractors (and their subcontractors) to control that adequate QA QC management is provided by Contractors to achieve the Project Quality Requirements and Objectives.
To this objective, the UFR QA QC Package Leader will be in charge for all UFR packages at all workplaces of:
- Developing and implementing all necessary QA QC documents within UFR packages team with due account for Nigerian Content monitoring requirements.
- Detailing all necessary Quality Plans, and follow-up, on their implementation within UFR packages team.
- Reviewing and commenting all Contractor QA QC related documents and PO ensuring that Egina Project Quality Plan is implemented within Contractors (and subcontractors) quality control scope of work; in particular ensuring that due attention is paid to equipment criticality rating.
- Ensuring, and verifying by regular audits, implementation of developed and approved procedures within both UFR packages team and Contractors (and subcontractors) organisation.
- Developing and controlling the Management of Change process (RFD, RFC, NCR, etc.) for the UFR packages and related interfaces.
- Attend and request (as need be) project and UFR packages QA QC meetings and QA QC audits. Review and approve Contractors audit schedules.
- Proposing (as need be) and following-up on necessary corrective actions ensuring rapid implementation of needed corrections.
- Interfacing with Third Party Authorities for the necessary certification of the UFR packages equipments.
- Animating Project feedbacks applicable to UFR packages and keeping abreast with others COMPANY projects feedbacks (QFN, REX+, etc.).
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports to the GM for UFR Packages and to the Project's QA/QC Manager including results of audits, findings, necessary corrective actions and implementation progress. Validating Contractors reporting.
- Ensuring all quality records and final documentation are properly filed, progressed at all levels with project advancement, compiled in due time and of the required standard to ensure smooth transfer to operating team.
- Ensuring that at all time the UFR packages will dispose of fully auditable records of on-going and performed activities with associated performances and acceptance criteria
ACCOUNTABILITIES- The job holder is accountable to ensure that QA QC requirements of both Project and UFR packages contracts are implemented at all levels.
NECESSARY PROFILE- Graduate degree in a engineering discipline applicable to UFR packages scope of activities (copy of diploma to be provided) with MSc or equivalent adequately completed by a recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification with formal training in ISO 9001:2000. Pending experience candidates with BSc may be also given consideration.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in EPC projects for the Oil & Gas sector is required with at least 5 years of continuous experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Experience in deepwater and installation projects will be also valuable.
- Good knowledge of relevant ISO, API, NACE and ASTM standards. Previous experience with (and fully conversant with) COMPANY general specifications will be also valuable.
- Good sense of communication, organization, ability to prioritize activities, to identify critical aspects, to summarize and present complex issues including transverse managerial and technical matters.
- Knowledge of Metallurgy, Welding, Destructive and NDE.
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
