Kaduna: It is exactly 7:20am. In an unprecedented show of commitment, all INEC officials and Security agents are already on ground for the election process at Unguwan Dosa Kaduna. There is hope for NIGERIA.
Sulaiman Sulaiman

Lagos: 7:50am - At Ikosi-Ketu, Kosofe LCDA, INEC ad-hoc staff are waiting to collect the election materials before moving to polling units.

Ibadan: 7:55am - At St. Anne's college, Molete, INEC staff just received voting materials from the collation centre and are transporting them to the various units

Ilorin: 7:45am - Voters' response is significantly different from last week. the turn out is already high and voting materials, INEC staff, security and party agents are all already assmebled at over 6 polling stations visited so far by our reporter.

Abuja: Accreditation has started at Area 8. Materials are also still being distributed from the Garki distribution centre

My name is SHAHEED MAIKUDI PU.005 Badiko ward behind government house kaduna, INEC officials arrived early, and acreditation began as early as 7:40am.

INEC officials have arrived our polling unit at Albarkawa polling unit, Kwarbai B ward,Zaria city.Kaduna state. The exercise has started and its relativly peacful.

Kogi: The state REC confirmed that sensitive materials have been distributed to all the 2,458 polling units across the 21 local government areas of the state

Lagos: 7:50am - At Ikosi-Ketu, Kosofe LCDA, INEC ad-hoc staff are waiting to collect the election materials before moving to polling units.

Accreditation start in kwarbai B poll booth, Kofar Doka, Zaria City, Kaduna State around 8.30am & is going on smoothly.

8: 30am: Two explosions rock Maiduguri again
Two explosives have been detonated close to Galadima junction and Customs Area of Maiduguri Metropolis, minutes before the commencement of accreditation of voters ahead of the presidential election today.

Lagos: 8:10am, INEC officials just arrived at a polling unit at Alakuko area, off Lagos-Abeokuta expressway with election materials while the ever busy expressway is deserted except for a few private car most of which are on election duty.

Gombe State: The turn-out of voters is not as impressive as last Saturday's elections. A visit to Kwami, funkaye and Nafada LGAs show that turn out is low, especially with the women. The exercise has commenced peacefully and on schedule in most polling units visited in the state.

Jonathan votes in presidential election

The President and candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Goodluck  Jonathan has casted his vote in today's presidential election at his Otuoke ward in Bayelsa.

He voted at about 12:35pm. His wife, Patience also voted at the polling centre.

Answering questions from newsmen, President Jonathan said Nigeria is witnessing a new dawn in its political evolution as shown in the commitment of the electorates, transparency and conduct of the election.

He also hoped the election produces a winner in the first ballot, saying that a re-run would involve huge financial, logistics and security challenges, considering the size and population of the country.

A short story as eye witness in my voting center in Kubwa, Abuja. A blind man was there today to cast his vote and he seeks the assistance of someone who will help him exercise his right. The blind man told the man that will assist him; he wants to vote for CPC. He further warned that if the man willing to assist him voted for PDP he prays that God will punish him here on earth and after dead. Here come is a good patriot blind man indeed.

Soldiers and PDP chairman in Pindiga, Akko local Government of Gombe state, have blocked all CPC agents from entering the town and send them back to kumo.

DANGEROUS RELIGIONISM! Our Imams/Pastors are culpable of Instigation. How do you expect me, a Muslim/Christian, to vote for Buhari/Jonathan, if you potray him as a Candidate for Allah/Jesus? How do I campaign for him to my less learned fellows without being seen as an Apostate? -Worried Nigerian Citizen.

The PDP chairman of zaria L/Govt hired thugs to disrupts the three polling units at the area, now the three boxes is said to be taken back to the INEC office which is a lie,pls act quickly to save these rats.

Voting in UBEC Primary school Gwarinpa is rowdy and out of control of security men. Something has got to be done fast.
