Our client, a non-bank financial institution providing services in Financial Advisory, Capital raising and Investment management to a diverse base of investors and business owners with strong interest in Nigeria and the broader West African economic region now requires a Human Resources Generalist – Senior Analyst for their Lagos office.
Job Description:
• Responsible for setup, on boarding and induction of all new joiners
• Be the first point of contact for all HR queries, escalating more complex queries and problems to senior management.
• Manage HR processes and MIS requirements around areas including tracking and reporting on new joiner probationary periods, temporary contract end dates, recruitment reporting, employee data reporting, leave management, HR filing, and statutory compliances.
• Function in an active & influential business advisory role with management in order to drive business results as it affects human resources.
• Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay- surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
• Maintain human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance.
• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource Federal & State requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
• Must have a minimum Second Class Upper Division (2:1) in Social Sciences or related field. Professional certification in Human Resources (such CIPM, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years experience working within a HR Generalist function

• Good knowledge of organizational development, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, retention strategies etc.
