The 2011 Hyundai Equus qualifies as a Top Safety Pick in the large-car category, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It is one of just 15 large cars to make it into the Top Safety Pick category. The IIHS rates the Equus good for front, side, rollover and rear crash protection.
