A building materials merchant in Olo community, Enugu State who was kidnapped by a yet-to be identified gunmen alongside his maternal brother who just came back from Europe, has reportedly been strangled to death by his abductors.

The deceased, Cajetan Nweke, a graduate of Enugu state University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Enugu, with his maternal brother Maite Onyibo were abducted at night while they were stepping out from a bar at Nkwo Olo Market settlement.

Crime Alert gathered that few days after the two brothers were whisked away by unknown gunmen, the lifeless body of Cajetan was found around 7up bottling company at 9th mile near Enugu where the abductors directed the family having paid N1million ransom somewhere in Anambra state instead of the N2 million earlier demanded by their abductors for the release of the young men.
