Africa Cup of Nations hero, Sunday Mba, believes Spain will provide Nigeria's Super Eagles the test of character as African champions.

Both nations clash next month in Fortaleza, Brazil in the Fifa Confederations Cup.

Mba is of the opinion that the world champions will be worthy test for himself and his Nigerian teammates.

The 24-year-old, who has been linked to European clubs lately, recalls facing Catalonia in January this year but reckons the approach from Spain will be different this time.

But the attacking winger acknowledged that it will be a tough tie against the Spaniards.

"That will be a good test for the team (as African champions). Remember I played against them in January against Catalonia.

"I believe it is not going to be an easy task playing them. They should have a different approach this time from the game against Catalonia but we now know a bit of them. I believe our coach (Stephen Keshi) has a new approach too," Mba said on Thursday from the Nigerian camp in Abuja.

On the World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Namibia, Mba puts them as priority.

But he said the team will take each game "step by step."

Nigeria will start their approach for the busy June schedule with an international friendly game against Mexico's El Tri in Houston, USA on May 31.

They will face Kenya in Nairobi on June 5 before heading to Windhoek to play Namibia on June 12.
Spain will definately test the Super Eagles of Nigeria whenever they meet. It would be a very tough one for both teams.
