Swansea City forward Michu has been hailed as an "outstanding signing" by former Wales striker Iwan Roberts.
.
Michu, a £2.2m signing from Rayo Vallecano last summer, won four awards at Swansea City's annual awards dinner.
.
The 27-year-old was presented with the supporters' player of the year, players player of the year, away player of the year and top goalscorer awards.
.
"No one had really heard of Michu before he came to Swansea. He looks an absolute steal now," Roberts said.
.
"He's been an outstanding signing. It's quite remarkable the form he's shown throughout the season.
.
"His goals have been vital to the success that Swansea have had this season."
.
The Spanish player has scored 22 goals during a season in which Swansea won the Capital One Cup and consolidated their position in the Premier League.
.
He signed a new four-year deal to extend his stay with Swansea City in January.
.
Michu's fellow Spaniard, Chico Flores, was voted the best newcomer and left-back Ben Davies won the young player of the year.
.
The 20-year-old Welsh international was handed his opportunity in the first team after Neil Taylor suffered a serious injury in September.
.
"His performances have been so consistent over the season. He's coped with the pressure, playing against the top sides," Roberts said of Davies.
.
"He's taken it all in his stride. He's got an old head on young shoulders and he's got stronger and stronger."
The goal he scored against Manchester United was a very fantastic one. Swansea FC is a fantanstic football team. I must kudos them.
