During a grueling WBA title bout with Guillermo Jones (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20130517/box-lebedev-jones/?utm_hp_ref=homepage&ir=homepage) in Moscow on Friday, the area around Lebedev's right eye became grotesquely swollen. According to Dan Rafael of ESPN, Lebedev's eye was already "an absolute mess (https://twitter.com/danrafaelespn/status/335478594535034880)" by the end of the fourth. It only got worse.

By the time Jones secured the 11th-round KO, Lebedev's eye and the fact that the fight had not been stopped earlier dominated discussion of the bout on social media.
