- In all activities, demonstrating strong health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance record with an understanding and commitment to safety and the environment;
- Implementation of (client and/or ILF mandatory) project management systems and assurance processes;
- Participates to risk, opportunity and lessons learnt workshops;
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination
- Technical coordination with client's engineering representatives;
- Initiates value engineering and ILF and client best practices;
Competency requirements- Academic Education to BS level minimum in Engineering.
- Technical Experience: Min. 10 years.
- Managerial Experience: Min. 5 years.
- A relevant engineering degree in either civil, structural engineering or naval architecture
- Preferably a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer or Chartered Naval Architect
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
- Experienced in topsides and jacket design (FEED, conceptual and detailed design)
- Experienced in managing a design team
- Construction and installation experience would be useful but is not essential
- Experienced with offshore structural analysis packages, particularly SACS
- Experience of brownfield projects would be useful but not essential
- Fully familiar with offshore legislation, codes and standards
- A knowledge of drilling rigs and drilling operations would be useful but is not essential
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- English mandatory.
