The General Overseer of Christ Faith Tabernacle Ministries International and a notable Isoko Lagos- based Gospel musician, Pastor Festus Ejete was recently attacked by ferocious gang rapists at the headquarters of the church, 32 Aminu Shola Street, Alaba Oro, Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, Ajegunle, Lagos.

According to Pastor Ejete who was the victim of the attack and landlord of the house which is adjacent to the church said one of his tenant's son attempted to rape a 16year-old girl whose name was Musirat Jamiu who attends Jubilee Modern Junior Grammar School, Coker Lagos. One of my pastors heard a fainted voice of the victim shouting for help while the callous rapist never bothered about the people rather compelled the girl to clean up his own vomit which he did intentionally to lure the girl into intercourse which she refused abruptly after receiving several tortures from the rapist. The rapist is known as one of the notorious criminals terrorizing innocent dwellers in Ajegunle. It has been alleged that he is in possession of deadly arms and ammunition using in robbing innocent people within the street.

Though we have settled the matter amicably after the rapist parents pleaded with me not to involve the police as the case may be but only to discover that the rapist was not satisfied with it rather invited 6 other gang rapists to attack me with bottles for exposing their grandfather of rapist. It was a free for all fight if not God that intervened for me. It was one of the gang rapists that stabbed me with pieces of bottle in my hands not the suspected rapist, he said.

Musirat Jamiu who was the victim of the rapist said Rilwan Mukiala is one of her neighbors in the same house attempted to rape her through his own vomit which he intentionally did to persuade her into intercourse which  I objected with disdain but wanted to force me into bed while severely torturing me to be mute which I  refused. It was one of my landlord pastors that rescued me from the notorious rapist. She said.

The father of the notorious rapist Mr. Mukaila said he was not at home when the incidence occurred but learnt that his son was intoxicated with hard gin and Indian hemp which prompted him to attempt rape. My son is a roadside mechanic and very stubborn boy that refused to go to school. He is just 22years old but never concentrated on his trade rather than terrorizing innocent dwellers in the street. I am ashamed of myself as a father. He said.

One of the eyewitnesses and a victim of the attack, Promise Daberechi who was severely injured by the rapists together with the pastor said the rapist boasted of killing his pastor who disrupted his carnal knowledge towards the girl. We never insulted him only advised him to retrace his step but decided to attack us with his gangs.

The Layeni Police has since swooped into the matter which the rapist father was detained but later released on a condition to produce his rapist son and others on the run within 48 hours.
