Job Title: Power Plant Engineer (m/f)

Job Description:
• For our office in Lagos/Nigeria we are looking for an experienced Power Plant Engineer, preferably on a permanent basis for the relevant facilities covering the following tasks in our Business Unit Thermal Power Plants and Seawater Desalination.
• Execution of planning activities, e.g. basic, FEED, and detail engineering design of Power plants
• Provide technical coordination of projects
• Write studies as pre-feasibility – and feasibility studies
• Follow up tenders and offers
• Prepare and coordinate proposals in close alignment with ILF Graz and ILF Nigeria, Proposal Management
• General project development
• Attend to customer meetings and manage relationships between ILF and their clients
• Provide technical sales support
• Establish/maintain relationships with vendors and conduct (technical) negotiations
• Build up and develop a team of discipline engineers (locals), you are also responsible for the extension of the team in Lagos
Application Requirements:
• You have successfully completed your studies at a Technical University or a University of Applied Sciences as M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a focus on power engineering
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience there of at least 5 years in a comparable position
• You are fluent in English and ideally you have also skills in at least a second foreign language
• You are used to work flexibly, independently and reliably in a team and you are mobile to work in international projects abroad
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications including MS-Project
