Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator have an opportunity for an Mechanical Completions Engineer to work on a long term contract based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for coordinating Final Inspection of site deliverables
-Assisting MC Inspector in performing Final MC on equipment according to delivery schedule from local site
-Maintain the Project Completion System
-Provide and follow up documents from supplier
Update and maintain the local delivery and MC status
-Cooperate with the Project MC Coordinator and the local Site MC Inspector
-Participate in team meetings and conduct MC reviews with project and Client
-Report project progress to MSP Project MC Coordinator as required
-Prepare MC reports and manuals in accordance with procedures
-Cooperate with System Engineering regarding alignment of MC scope and Client tags according to the tagging philosophy
-Cooperate with QS, QC, DM, LCI and Engineering leads to enable Final Delivery from Site to the Client according to Global Procedures, Contract and Client specifications
Qualifications and experience: Relevant experience within similar roles in oil and gas.
