(http://fmi.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/sambo-300x224.jpg) Nigeria's Vice President, Mohammed Namadi Sambo was at the ancient city of Zaria on Saturday, 18 May to mourn with his relations over the death of a family member, Saude Yusuf Dani which sad event occurred on Sunday, May 12, 2013.
At the home of his elder sister, Halima Yusuf Dani in Tudun Wadan, Zaria, VP Sambo joined family members in paying grief over the sad event. He said the late Hajiya Saude was a loving, caring and God-fearing person whose demise is a great loss not only to him, but to the entire family. He said that he would greatly miss her invaluable advice and wise counsel.
The Late Saude Yusuf Dani who died at the age of 78 after a brief illness has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Vice President had earlier called at the Palace of the Emir of Zazzau, HRH Shehu Idris to pay him homage. At the Palace, the Royal Father prayed the Almighty Allah for peace and an end to the current security challenges in the country, which he described as unfortunate and uncalled for.
