Title: U.S. Govt proposes $250 million grant to Edo State.

(http://fmi.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/usa-nigeria-flags.jpg)                        The U.S government has proposed a grant of $250 million to Edo State government, to enhance and boost the capacity of the fertilizer plant in the State.

This was made known during a courtesy visit by the United State's Consular General, Mr. Jeffery Hawkins to Edo state Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, recently at Government House, Benin.

The Consular General, who accompanied the Governor on inspection of some ongoing and completed projects, commended the Governor for the developmental strides geared towards the upliftment of the standard of infrastructure in the State.

Earlier, the Governor said that the transformation visible in the State today was as a result of the political will of the people.  He thanked the U.S government for extending hands of fellowship to Edo people, and promised to keep the flag flying.
