The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, weekend in Lagos, described the arrest of some policemen in alleged connection with the killings of policemen two weeks ago, by members of the Ombatse cult group in Alayko village, Nassarawa state, as mere allegation, until ongoing investigation proved otherwise.
.
This came as President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed satisfaction over the ongoing renovation of the Police College, Ikeja.
.
The renovation work is expected to be completed in two weeks and handed over to the Nigeria Police.
.
The IG who was on a visit to the Police College Ikeja, to inspect the level of ongoing renovation work, said so far, it had not been proven that the policemen gave information to the cultists, assuring that if there was concrete proof to that effect, the Force would not hesitate to expose the men to the world.
I don't how effective our investigation is in this country is but let's just hope for the best at the end of everything. We expect something soonest.
