Title: Atiku Urges Nigerian Leaders To Imbibe Good Management Skills

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has declared that Nigerian will never be taken seriously among the comity of nations unless its leaders embrace good management practises in all their dealings.

Atiku who spoke when management of the Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM, paid him a visit in Yola, Adamawa State capital said: "If we want to be taken seriously in the comity of nations, it is high time we embraced good management practises in all our dealings as individuals, organisations and a nation because good management practices breed good governance and a working economy."

He maintained that efficient management of man and materials has been identified as a key factor to the success and continued survival of any organisation and sustainable national development.

He said: "Just like efficient management of both men and materials is critical and key to every organisation's continued survival in business, it is even more germane to a nation's economy and general outlook.

Good advice coming from our former vice president. I hope Nigerians make the best use of it. It makes a lot of sense.
