Kaduna United centre-back, Emmanuel Ambrose will not be available for selection in his side's mid-week Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 14 clash at Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofarmata, Kano.

Ambrose cupped a minor knee injury in his side's 0 3 defeat at Enyimba in Aba in the NPFL Matchday 11 encounter and was on the sideline in the side's 1-0 home win against Lobi Stars on Matchday 13 in Kaduna.

The Crocodiles' strongman is expected to be fit for the side's Matchday 15 tie against Wikki Tourists in Kaduna.

Ambrose said though he will not play active role in the game against the Nigerian champions, he will however be praying ceaselessly for his team's victory.

"I didn't travel with them to Kano for tomorrow's (Wednesday) game against Pillars. I sustained a minor knock on my leg in the game at Enyimba in Aba. That was the reason I didn't play in our home win against Lobi Stars on Sunday.

"I'm advised to further rest the leg for our next home game against Wikki Tourists. I'm fine at the moment and already training with the side.

"I won't be there physically to contribute my own quota but be rest assured I'll be there with them in spirit and interceding in prayer on their behalf.

"The game is certain to be difficult but we'll surely give Pillars good fight and chance grabbing good result.

"The win against Lobi Stars has boosted the morale of my teammates, their spirit is very high and hopefully we'll win or at least, pick a point at Pillars.

"Our position on the log is not the best we wish for the team at the moment so we must fight for every point available in order to improve our fortune on the log," said the captain of his side.

Kaduna United are 14th on the 20-team elite league log on 17 points from possible 39.
I'm very sure they would want to improve on the log so they have to forget abt whoever is not playing and win the game.
