Reigning Nigeria 100m champion,Blessing Okagbare returned to Beijing,China,the venue of her Olympic bronze medal feat yesterday and raced home first in the 100m event at the 2013 IAAF World Challenge.

The Nigerian ran 11.04 seconds into a legal tail wind of +1.2 m/s to stroll home first ahead of Mikele Barber of the USA (11.30),reigning African champions,Zang Milama Ruddy of Gabon (11.32) and Jamaica's Aleen Bailey who ran 11 36 seconds to come fourth.

Okagbare's time was four hundreth of a second slower than the personal season's best time of 11.00 seconds she ran last Friday in Shanghai,China to come second behind reigning Olympic champions, Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Phyrce at the second leg of the 14-leg IAAF Diamond League series.
