(http://fmi.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Nigerian-prison-logo-300x192.jpg) A new Controller of Prisons, Niger State Command, Alhaji Musa Maiyaki has assumed duty in Minna with a call on officers and men of the State Command to live up to expectations.
The new Controller said that he was optimistic that he would enjoy a good working relationship with the officers and men of the command, since the command had been known for peace over the years.
He affirmed that he would with the support of his officers and men, improve on the record of performance achieved by his predecessor, Alhaji Labbo Abubakar Kaoje who was going on retirement after 35years of service.
In a brief remark at a set forth ceremony held at the Federal Secretariat, Minna Conference hall, Alhaji Labbo described his service years in Nigerian Prisons as memorable.
He commended the officers and men for organizing a set forth for him, promising that he would continue to partner with them.
The outgoing controller called on them to give his successor all the co-operation and support he needed to succeed, more so that he had been part and parcel of the command.
Alhaji Musa Maiyaki, who had served variously in Benue and Oyo State Commands, and Abuja, was until his deployment to the State Command, the Controller of Prisons in charge of Administration at the Zone D Headquarters in Minna.
