Remuneration: N480,000 – N600,000
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding and successful haulage organisation with head office based in Lagos. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an additional Transport / Logistics Manager to manage the day to day and longer term logistics and planning of the business.
This role is central to the successful operation of the company and will involve liaison with sales, production, marketing, suppliers and customers. You will be required to ensure optimum business performance and service levels. You will be responsible for developing and managing the order processing function, managing distribution plans and managing all logistic activities including 3rd party logistic providers.
The successful candidate will be confident, proactive and an excellent communicator.
You must be able to liaise effectively with internal and external customers. You will possess a thorough understanding of order processing and logistics within a food environment and a good knowledge of 3rd party warehouse process is important.
