Job Title: Senior Coordinator, Environmental Compliance and studies

Job description:
• Coordinate all environment related studies e.g. EIA, EES, EA, EMP, ESI etc and liaise with appropriate regulators/stakeholders on approvals of such studies
• Coordinate and liaise with appropriate regulators to secure relevant permits, consent and approvals on all environment related issues
• Develop, coordinate and advise on environmental monitoring plans and compliance issues as it relates to operations
• Coordinate all waste management activities and review waste management plan with a view to track all waste from cradle to grave
• Act as focal person on all environment related visits/inspections/audits by regulators and other stakeholders
• Coordinate oil spill cleanup and remediation of impacted areas, Review annual Oil Spill Contingency Plan and liaise with appropriate regulators for activation exercise
• Develop new or review existing environmental related plans, standards and procedures relevant to operations
• Attend OPTS meetings and other relevant environment related meetings
• Any other job deemed necessary by the GM
Requirements:
• Engineering or equivalent technical Degree
• Minimum of 10 years' experience with at least 8 years spent in a similar role in an Oil and Gas operating or servicing Company
• Relevant Safety courses and training are required
• Good organizational as well as verbal and written communications skills
