Job Title: Chief Project Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description:

•   The Chief Project Manager will provide project management for a portfolio of projects.

•   This will involve the production of plans, documentation and the provision of guidance to other Project Managers and ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits realised from the implementation of the change.

•   The Chief Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate full realisation of benefits defined in the business case.

•   This should be achieved by appropriate adherence to standard project management methodology: PRINCE2/PMP and best practice within the profession, involving the production of plans, documentation and guidance for project teams throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring all organisational procedures are adhered to.

•   The Chief Project Manager role is appropriate for a highly-experienced project manager in the field of city lightnings with responsibilities for complex projects within the their portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills:

•   The ideal Chief Project Manager will possess the following qualifications/experience/skill sets:

•   A good first degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge in civil engineering

•   PRINCE 2/PMP Certification and MBA will be added advantage.

•   Minimum of ten (10) years experience managing lighting/electrical projects in major cities and highways.

Key Tasks: Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs

Requirements:

•   Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

•   Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

•   Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client

•   Effectively applies project methodology and enforces project standards

•   Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives

•   Excellent abilities in public communications and consensus building

•   Facilitates team and client meetings effectively

•   And many more.
