The audition recorded over 800 contestants excitedly chorusing "Glo, Glo Glo, X Factor!"

Amongst the crowd of X Factor hopefuls was the famous television personality, Kokui Selormey – the co-host of "This Morning" show on Viasat 1. Though she could not progress to the final stage, she gave her words of commendation to Glo for bringing X Factor to Africa.

Part of the history made at Ghana was the participation of a group named "Crosscrown" that comprises of a 54 year-old Robert Adinyira and 53 year-old Jonathan Seshie. They've been together singing since 1976 at Denu. They joined in acknowledging the prize money of $150,000 as a very big deal.

Also, commending Glo were the female 24 year-old Latino twins, Lamberta and Lambertina Hansen, who after qualifying declared that were ready to battle the male twins from Nigeria, the DNA Twins and give them a good run for their money.

Glo presents the platform for fame and stardom and with Glo X Factor, the opportunity is unlimited.
