Job Title: Director, Works and Services

Location: Saki, Nigeria

Employer: Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki

Duties:

The Director of Works & Services heads the department. The holder of the position will be responsible to the Rector for the overall control of the Works and Services Department on the following specific schedule:

•   Overall control of the Works and Estate Department.

•   Formulating divisional strategies. to achieve the Institutional goals.

•   Planning and controlling the technical activities of the Works department

•   Advising the Rector on the acquisition, operation and maintenance of all Institution assets.

•   Preparing Work's Division Budget and exercising budget control.

•   Keeping an inventory of all Institution Vehicles and has responsibility of their maintenance, security and upkeep.

•   Supervision of all staff in the Department

Qualification:

•   Candidates for this post must be holders of First degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University.

•   The possession of a higher degree will be an advantage.

•   An eligible – candidate must be a COREN Registered Engineer with at least 15 years post qualification cognate experience in projects/works management.

•   Candidates must not be below the rank of Chief Engineer.

Salary: Contediss 14
