Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Stephen Keshi has taken the time to assess Saturday's international friendly between the Super Eagles and Mexico's El Tri.

Both sides battled to an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Reliant Stadium in Houston with the 10-man Mexican side pinching a second half equalizer as the sides settled for a share of the spoils.

Despite watching his boys fail to kill off the spirited fight back against a side with a numerical disadvantage; Keshi still had words of comfort for his wards.

"I think the boys were not that bad, they just lost concentration," said Keshi at the post match conference.

Mexico took the lead in the 21st minute through Javier Hernandez but Nigeria equalized in the 30th minute through Brown Ideye's coolly-taken penalty.

Nigeria then shot into the lead five minutes before the break but were pegged back by the North Americans when Hernandez stole in at the near post to even the scores 20 minutes from the end.

Nigeria will next meet Kenya in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Nairobi on June 5.
