Title: Police Arraign Fuel Dealer For Allegedly Stealing 33,000 Litres Of Diesel

Detectives from  the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID,  Yaba, Lagos, have charged a 44- year-old petroleum dealer before an Ebute-Metta Chief Magistrate's Court, Lagos, on a two-count charge of stealing a trailer load of diesel and issuing of dud cheque.

The dealer, Adeyefa Akeem, of John Tome filling Station, Badagry,  was alleged to have stolen the petroleum product valued at N3.9 million, belonging to Weirdo Divine Investment Limited,  on August 29,2012.

He was also alleged to have issued a WEMA bank cheque with number 06175078, to Waido Divine Investment Limited, which was dishonoured when presented for payment due to insufficient. fund in the account.
