KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• At Baker Hughes, this position supervises and oversees under minimal supervision the installation/pulling of ESP Systems which can include Y-tool, and associated equipment in offshore and onshore locations
• The role leads a team, attends pre job planning meetings, prepares for and supervises the technical service
• The role acts as on site Artificial Lift representative for communication with customers and account managers and completes all job documentation
• The role conducts a worksite review and debriefs the internal team
• Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting and testing Downhole ESP equipment including Downhole Monitoring Tools and satellite monitoring in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life
• In addition, the role sets up and starts Centrilift Motor Controllers, Variable Speed Drives and Transformers. Electrically competent personnel may be required to commission and maintain various types of surface control equipment
• The role provides on-the-job training to team members and conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• A minimum of a Two year Technical Degree.
• 2 to 5 years' experience in Artificial Lift Systems.
• Industry experience and product line training required.
• An experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician is required for this role
• Good presentation skills.
