Bayern Munich's Ukrainian midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will rejoin Russian side Zenit St Petersburg next season, the German champions announced on Sunday.
.
The move was also confirmed by Zenit with the 34- year-old signing a two-year deal.
.
Tymoshchuk spent four seasons at Bayern, who became the first German team to win the treble after beating Stuttgart 3-2 in Saturday's German Cup final to add to their Bundesliga and Champions League titles.
.
The Ukraine national team captain joined Bayern from Zenit for 10 million euros in 2009.
.
During his first spell with the Russian club Tymoshchuk won the Russian championship in 2007 and was part of the Uefa Cup-winning team a year later.
.
Zenit finished runners-up to champions CSKA Moscow in the Russian Premier League this season, snapping their run of back-to-back titles.
The club would do the player a lot of good. Zenit FC has room for lots of players to join. This is a nice move.
