Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Gwagwalada Area Council Branch, FCT, has registered a total of 103 lawyers to ascertain the quacks in the profession. Chairman of the NBA, Barr. John Eric Tyoyumun Tyorumun, who made the disclosure in an interview with Peoples Daily during the annual general meeting of the association in Gwagwalada, said that the leadership of the association would not relent in its effort to combat quacks in the profession.
He urged members of the association to be committed to law profession while advising them to use the profession to improve the society for better. He further advised lawyers to shun any act capable of tarnishing the image of the profession, as according to him, lawyers are the special people in our society. While speaking on the achievements of the association so far, Tyorumun narrated that the association was able to secure a piece of land, 18 setters bus and a temporary secretariat for the association among others.
