Chief Human Resources Officer and Corporate Affairs – International Opportunity
A major Canadian utility has been awarded a key contract to assist a transmission company in West Africa become technically and financially competitive.
Essential in achieving this goal is effective leadership in implementing current human resources practices and developing the HR team's technical capacity, professionalism and engagement. As a Senior Human Resources leader, who can lead and inspire change effectively in different cultural settings, you have:
• 15 years' experience in human resources and industrial relations with five years at a senior capacity preferably in a large energy utility, energy or industrial sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and practical experience in industrial relations including computer application to human resources practices
• Experience in change management, leading and motivating staff during major changes and in dealing with complex human resource issues in a developing country
• University degree in human resources, social sciences or social psychology. MBA with specialisation in human resources development would be an asset
• Experience in managing corporate communications
• Excellent communication skills in English
