(http://fmi.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/labour3-300x192.jpg) The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Clement Onubuogo Illoh has commended the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly for its laudable programmes, aimed at bringing the much needed succour to the people of the State.
Dr. Illoh made the remarks recently, in Asaba during a courtesy call on the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei. He briefed the Hon. Speaker on the rigorous processes that led to his emergence as a Federal Permanent Secretary, representing Delta State, as well as the activities of his Ministry since he assumed office.

He said, "Over the years, I have followed with keen interest your laudable programmes aimed at bringing the dividends of democracy to our people. I can assure you that by the Grace of God, I will do my best to further contribute to efforts being made by the present Government to alleviate the sufferings of our people"; Dr. Illoh assured.
The Hon. Speaker congratulated the Permanent Secretary on his appointment as a Federal Permanent Secretary; while describing the elevation as a rare feat in view of the rigorous processes that Dr. Illoh underwent before the appointment. He likened his progressive career from a Labour Officer 1 to a Permanent Secretary in the same Ministry to that of Dr. Kofi Annan of Ghana, who started his meritorious career in the United Nations and rose to the pinnacle position at the world body.
The speaker expressed his appreciation to the Permanent Secretary for the honour done the entire Anioma people in particular, and Delta State in general. "I am particularly delighted that this appointment came during my tenure as Speaker. Many other notable appointments at the national level have been recorded by some indigenes of our dear State since I was elected Speaker and I know that many more are on the way"; he said. The Speaker added that he was favourably disposed to prosecuting programmes targeted at improving the welfare of the people of State.
