Harambee Stars' assistant coach James Nandwa was disappointed following a 1-0 defeat to Nigeria's Super Eagles in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
.
Nandwa was incharge at the touchline since Kenya's head coach Adel Amrouche was in the stands following his suspension.
.
"Football is a dirty game. We lost at home despite looking good at the start. I'm not happy with the result but injuries and suspensions cost us.
.
" Kepha Aswani got injured in the 20th minute and that was a huge blow to us especially considering we didn't have enough back up."
.
"You could tell we lost it at concentration, Waruru gave away the ball and Efe Ambrose was there to link up with Musa and the rest we all know."
.
He however maintains that they have not given up on their campaign.
.
"We have a chance. There are still two teams left and with more friendlies we can win our remaining matches and do better in Namibia match." Kenya plays Malawi next in Blantyre.
They have no reason to be dissappointed because they really had no answer to all of the question Nigeria asked in the game.
Of course we expect that from Kenya being that they boasted big time before the game. Shame on them.
