Briefing newsmen at the Imo State police command headquarters in Owerri, the deputy commissioner of police Imo State; Micheal Ogbodu said the order given by the group is false information by miscreants who are intending to cause breach of peace in the state and in the country as a whole. He advised the group to have a rethink and abandon such negative move as the command has put in place encompassing and formidable structures on  ground to combat any breakdown of law and order in the state. Earlier in the week, the group issued a statement in Onitsha signed by the Regional Administrator of Oshimili South Asaba region, Chinedu Amaifeobu and Regional Director for security Oshimili South; Adili Ignetius calling on all igbos irrespective of their location in the south east to observe a one day sit-at-home exercise from 6am-4pm.
