Title: Edo to demolish buildings used by kidnappers.

This resolution was made at the end of the State Security Council presided over by the State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, recently in Benin City

While speaking to newsmen at the end of the meeting, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Folusho Adebayo said, "The council has resolved that any house used for kidnapping purposes will be demolished".

He further said that theĀ  calm in the State was as a result of the efforts of the State security agencies, adding that the State will not be safe for robbers and kidnappers unless they repent or relocate.

Mr. Adebayo said the State Security Council has resolved to make the State very comfortable for law abiding citizens, stressing that the response from distress calls have been very encouraging as members of the State Security Council are doing their best to stem the tide of robbery and kidnappings with keen interest.
