Remuneration: N600,000 – N720,000 pa + Benefits
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure that all intra and interstate goods are promptly delivered to desired locations
• To ensure smooth and unhindered movement of equipment and personnel.
• Ensure customer/clients satisfaction.
• To be responsible for goods importation from the company suppliers
• Liaise with the store officer on goods required for delivery.
• Planning and scheduling the delivery of goods and cargoes.
• Negotiating pricing with local carriers.
• Liaise with marketers and sales executives on goods delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation of goods delivered to the clients/customers.
• To maintain adequate time schedule on all delivery.
• To ensure proper journey management for all scheduled movements on delivery.
• Loading/Offloading of Imported materials and equipment and delivery to planned location.
• Managing all supply chain activities.
• Developing robust processes & policies.
• Negotiating the services of 3rd party carriers, couriers and haulage companies.
• Completing and filing compliance documentation for import, export and supply chain security.
• Maintain records required for compliance with states and federal regulations on transportation.
• Determining the re-order level and ensure prompt placement of order to local & international suppliers
• Analyzing and determining a safe and cost effective shipping medium
• Raising and perfecting necessary shipment's documentation and follow up on shipment until delivery is achieved.
• Ensuring smooth custom clearing and ensuring right duty is applied
• Liaising with banks and license inspection agent to ensure prompt collection of shipment documents
• Liaising with statutory agents to resolve differences
• Managing and maintaining company fleets of vehicle
• To carry out any other duties assigned by the MD/CEO.
Requirements:
• First degree holder (HND, BSc. B.A etc.)
• 1-3 years' experience in similar position will be an advantage
