Leading International Agricultural Company is looking for an experience Mill Director to join their team in West Africa.
You will be responsible for a 60 ton per hour palm oil mill, overall responsibility including production, maintenance and staff management will lie with this candidate.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Setting and monitoring performance targets
• Manpower Scheduling
• Evaluation of plant performance
• Evaluating problems and finding effective solutions.
• Quality improvement and implementation of new distillation plant
• Cost reduction in utilities consumption and improvement in process yield
The work involves trouble shooting of oil refinery and fatty acid distillation plants, process modification, capacity enhancement and project implementation. Reporting to the Director (Technical) and responsible for over 100 operating and staff personnel.
Essential requirements:
• Day to day trouble shooting, repair and installation of industrial electromechanical & control systems for utility & production equipment.
• At least 5 years' experience of working in edible oil plant(s)
• Strong experience working in mechanical systems
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to diagnose problems and deliver on time solutions
• Working knowledge of French and English
• Knowledge of Africa is a major advantage
• Educated to BSc level in Chemical Engineering or similar as a minimum
Package:
• 120,000 + euros
• In country costs provided.
