Operations Manager – Concrete Ready Mix Plant – Nigeria
Job Details:
• A large construction equipment manufacturer is looking for an Operations Manager to take over the management of one of their key Concrete Ready Mix Plants, as well as a number of other sites in the region.
• The role would be based in West Africa so some experience of working in West Africa would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate would be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the plants.
• Supervising of all staff on sites.
• Constantly inspect on-site facilities and prescribe any maintenance required.
• Full responsibility for the management of budgets.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of ready mix experience, with both supervisory and hands on experience
• An impressive ability for multi-tasking and understanding day to day requirements of a ready mix plant.
• Excellent communication skills and a proficiency in using standard office computer products.
• Must be able to create and maintain working relationships with both employees and clients.
• Ideally some experience of working abroad, preferably West Africa.
