Job Title: Specialist, Treasury and Corporate Finance

Job Summary:
• Assist in implementing the financial strategies of the company
• Perform variance analyses to monitor cash flow forecasts and contribute to preparation of budgets
• Monitor and manage the efficient utilization of funds in a manner consistent with the objectives of the company
Principal Functions:
• Track company's funding position
• Conduct market/ industry research and analysis
• Assist in negotiating short-term credit facilities and ensure compliance with loan covenants and efficient administration of loans
• Monitor interest rate and foreign exchange risk and advise on and implement hedging strategies
• Maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Budget & Planning, Finance Support, Management Reporting, Accounts Payables and Retail ? and external stakeholders, including banks, financial advisors, facility agents, cash-in-transit companies, etc
• Assist in negotiating all aspects of corporate finance transactions, including financial, legal and regulatory aspects
• Assist with preparing cash flow forecasts on a regular basis
• Review key treasury reports to enhance effective decision-making with respect to cash/ fund management
• Gather and interpret financial data in order to assist in corporate financial decisions
• Design and build complex financial models according to best practice techniques
• Assist with financial modelling and financial projections to assess viability of projects
• Prepare investor presentations, information memoranda, financial models and financial advisory documents for various projects
• Perform risk and financial analyses, as well as prepare financing terms and conditions, industry analyses and key investment highlights
• Facilitate regulatory audits and interact with regulators such as the NSE and SEC to ensure compliance
• Prepare ad hoc reports for management and other stakeholders
• Assist with the preparation of Board papers for discussion at Operating Committees and Board Meetings
• Complete special projects as required to ensure continuous improvement of all cash management processes
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head-Treasury & Corporate Finance•
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Studies or related numerate/ financial discipline
• Relevant postgraduate qualification ? e.g MA/ MBA/ M.Sc. ? and professional certification(s) ? e.g ICAN, ACCA, CFA, etc ? preferred
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
• Between two (2) and five (5) years? directly relevant post-NYSC work experience involving exposure to Corporate Finance and/ or Corporate Treasury and financial modelling
• Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
