The Federal Government, Monday, undertook a major shake-up in the Nigeria Immigration Service with the appointment of Mr. David Paradang as the new Comptroller General.

Until his appointment, Mr. Paradang, from Plateau State was the Assistant Comptroller-General in charge of State Coordination at the Immigration Headquarters in Abuja.

With this appointment, all seven Deputy Comptrollers-General have been eased out of the organisation in a move said to be part of the efforts to re-position the service for better service delivery.
