Job Title: Managing Director for Real Estate
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Job Objective:
•   This position will provide oversight and strategic administration for luxury and conventional housing as well as commercial property.
•   S/he will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of real estate sales associates, handle recruitment to promote office growth as well as the training to ensure the success of sales associates.
•   The successful candidate will be responsible for the leasing, marketing, facilities oversight and fiscal management of two to eight separate properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Focus During the First 12 Months:
•   Develop relationships with angel investors and venture capitalists; obtain financing at reasonable terms when it becomes necessary.
•   Develop and lead execution of sales and marketing plan.
•   Create an appropriate vision, long-term strategy and company culture.
Other Responsibilities:
•   Complete oversight of properties, including supervision of on-site staff.
•   Best practices implementation in support of 97% rent collection rates and 95%+ occupancy rates.
•   Negotiate best outcomes for all issues involving residents, staff and government agencies.
•   Participate in policy development/implementation to best meet property needs.
•   Manage fiscal areas in support of property profitability. 
•   Establish and maintain productive relationship within and outside of the organization.
•   Leading all residential sales activities within a branch office
•   Accountable for achieving branch office production and performance goals
•   Maintain an active role in the development and execution of our significant local marketing/advertising
•   Implement and manage various programs established by the company to achieve objectives
•   Implements policies and procedures regarding the administration of real property and leases.

Educational Requirements/Work Experience/Skills and Abilities:
•   2-4 years of real estate sales experience
•   Real Estate Broker's license is a plus
•   CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.
•   8 years minimum experience in property management operations.
•   3 years minimum experience with luxury and conventional residential property oversight.   
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Proficient Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, MS Project/other project management applications, and email
•   Team/Project meeting management skills, including preparation, execution and timely documentation of results
•   Proven leadership, coaching and management skills and experience
•   Ability to Multi-task and update technical knowledge regularly
•   Ability to address issues with appropriate urgency, leads with effective energy to facilitate timely results.
•   An energetic, positive, and professional demeanor
