Prophet Moses Muideen Kasali, a renowned Prophet based in Ojedeji in Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo State has stated that the state of emergency declared in some northern States of Nigeria by President Goodluck Jonathan was not the permanent solution to the insurgence being witnessed in the northern part of the country now.
The Cleric stated this at a press briefing held at the Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, a.k.a. Ori Oke Alaseyori, Ojedeji, Moniya, Ibadan.
Prophet Kasali said the declaration of the state of emergency is not the permanent solution to the Boko Haram insurgence but a temporary one. He said, what the country needs now is divine intervention through prayers.
The blind Prophet further revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan and other top government functionaries in the country should seek the face of God in tackling the problems confronting the nation. He said that God had revealed to him that things will return back to normalcy in the country only when leaders seek the face of God and change their ways of doing things.
He cautioned that those in position of authority should do the right thing always. He also advised practitioners in the media sector to desist from giving unnecessary publicity to the activities of Boko Haram. He added that if the activities of the sect is no longer reported and disregarded by the media, then, they will go into oblivion.
On the victims and families of the ill fated Dana air that are yet to receive compensation from the management of Dana Air, Prophet Kasali said the Federal Government is not doing enough. According to him," Government should not have allowed Dana Airline to continue to operate in the Nigeria Air Space without adequately compensating families of affected victims."
