Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose has warned his teammates to approach Monday's Fifa Confederations Cup game against Tahiti will full concentration.
.
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) champions are the lowest ranked side in the competition and have been tipped by bookmakers to lose all three of their preliminary games against Nigeria, Uruguay and Spain.
.
Tahiti were recently beaten 7-0 by Chile's under 20 side in a friendly game but Ambrose believes that result against the South Americans and the low ranking of the OFC champions will count for nothing during Monday's game.
.
"It is a match we know we need to win and, to do that, we need to be fully concentrated. We cannot afford to take any chances. Big shocks have happened before in these kind of tournaments and we don't want to be the victims this time," Ambrose told fifa.com.
.
Monday's game at the Estadio Mineirao, Belo Horizonte kicks off at 8pm.
There was no upset whatsoever cos they dealt with them big time in that game. Efe Ambrose did well too...
