AT&T holds the exclusivity (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s4_active_to_launch_exclusively_on_at_t-news-6213.php) on the dust and water resistant Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9295_galaxy_s4_active-5446.php) for the United States. The phone was unveiled (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_officially_announces_the_galaxy_s4_active-news-6161.php) earlier this month and its worldwide availability will start with the US and Sweden.

AT&T has been taking pre-orders since June 14 with a promised shipping date June 21. As it turns out though AT&T started shipping the Galaxy S4 Active yesterday, which is two days ahead of schedule, and many users are already using the tough smartphone.

AT&T website is still taking pre-orders though it now says those will be fulfilled on June 19.

Other markets will launch the Galaxy S4 Active later this summer.
