Job Title: Analyst I, Project Management

Job Summary: The Analyst, Project Management will assist the Project Management unit in keeping up-to-date records and monitoring the Commission's projects. The job holder reports to the Head of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Keeps up to date with the work plan of all Divisions/Units of the Commission including and not restricted to quarterly reports
2. Maintains a database of the Commission's quarterly scorecard on projects and activities
3. Assists in coordinating and track changes to 5 year strategic plan
4. Identifies and reports project risks
5. Ensures reasonable Cost Estimation of Projects
6. Keeps track of projects costs to ensure budgetary compliance
7. Conducts project cost Analysis for the various projects
8. Assists in Developing policy initiatives, analysis and strategic planning for attaining the goals and objectives of the Commission

Educational / Professional Qualification(s):
a. A first degree in Management / Social sciences
b. A post graduate degree in a relevant field will be an advantage
c. Certifications in a Project Management discipline, would be of added value
Work Experience:
a. A least 4 years experience, with at least 3 years of them in project managementM
b. Must have "hands-on" project management experience, involving project management tools such as the Microsoft Project s Application
