Progressive Global Energy are representing a Seismic Processing Consultancy Group who are part of a large integrated service group and in particular work closely with the operations and G&G divisions. This group includes full time staff and over 50 associate geophysicists. Work covers many aspects of seismic processing, survey planning and modelling for exploration and development geophysics throughout the world.
They are undertaking further expansion in this sector and are seeking the right individuals to support this expansion with immediate involvement in high profile flagship projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Project Management of seismic processing projects.
• Survey design and modelling.
• Quality control of seismic data processing at Contractors in-house centres.
• Special processing of seismic data using ProMAX and Hampson-Russell software.
• Technical presentations to clients and at technical conferences.
• Management, marketing and negotiation of contracts and writing of proposals.
[Training and support will be given where required]
Experience Required:
We are looking for junior and senior staff positions. The candidates should possess:
• Minimum of a first degree in related discipline.
• 7+ years experience primarily in seismic data processing.
• Hands on Land processing experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and to support others.
• Good knowledge of acquisition, processing and analysis of seismic data.
• Problem solver with drive to deliver technical excellence and practical solutions.
