Vice President Namadi Sambo has given out the daughter of former Military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar in marriage at an impressive ceremony in Minna, Niger State.
The Vice President, who stood in for the bride's family, gave out Fatima Abubakar in marriage to Abdulazeez Adewale Oshinusi son of the Turaki Adini of Nigeria, Alhaji Kamal Oshinusi on a dowry of One Hundred Thousand Naira. Otunba Oshinusi stood in for the groom.
The wedding fatiha witnessed by several dignitaries including the host, the Niger State Governor, Dr. Babangida Aliyu and his Imo State counterpart, Owele Rochas Okorocha, was conducted by the Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Mallam Isa Fari.
Earlier, Vice President Sambo was at the home of General Abdulsalami Abubakar on courtesy visit, where he met with the groom's family.
