Al-Hikmah University Procedures for Undergraduate and Diploma Admissions for 2013/2014 Academic Session
IF YOU OBTAINED THE NATIONAL MINIMUM JAMB SCORE OF 180 AND ABOVE AND YOU HAVE THE 5 REQUIRED CREDIT PASSES IN RELEVANT O' LEVEL SUBJECTS FOR THE COURSE THAT YOU WANT TO STUDY IN THE UNIVERSITY, YOUR BEST CHANCE TODAY IS TO JOIN US AT AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY, ILORIN, NIGERIA. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Al-Hikmah University for four (4) year Degree Programmes for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (U.T.M.E) candidates, three (3) year Degree Programmes for Direct Entry candidates, two (2) year Sub-Degree (Diploma) Programmes and a year Remedial/Foundation programmes.

Remedial/Foundation programmes are available in the 2013/2014 academic session for all our Degree programmes.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SISC Examinations or their equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed Degree Programmes. English Language at credit level is compulsory for all candidates. In addition, credit in Mathematics is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into Degree Programmes in the Colleges of Management Sciecnes, Natural Sciences and some Education Courses. Direct Entry admission is also available for applicants with suitable qualifications and who obtainedJoint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) DE Form 2013.
Applicants will be required to have a minimum of four (4) Credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in the relevant subjects at SSCE/WASC/NABTEB/SIS. Thanawiyyah/Tawjihiyyah Certificate of an Arabic Senior Secondary School duly registered with the relevant State Authorities or equivalent to any of the above mentioned qualifications will be considered.
The Remedial/ Foundation programmes available in the 2013/2014 academic session are designed for candidates who fall into any of the following categories:
1. Candidates with relevant five (5) "O Level" Credit passes but scored below 180 in JAMB's UTME 2013
2. Candidates with at least two (2) "O Level" credit passes and as well as deficiency in JAMB
3. Candidates with University Diploma, Ordinary National Diploma (ND) or National Certificate of Education (NCE) but deficient in O'Level credit passes requirement.
1. Interested applicants should make a Bank Draft of N7,500 made payable to Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin drawn from any commercial bank nationwide
2. Present the Bank draft at the University Bursary Department and obtain the official receipt
3. On presentation of the official receipt at the Admissions Office, you will be issued the Application Form
4. Return the Completed Application Form to the Admissions Office not later than two (2) weeks after purchase of the Application Form.
Upon return of the Application Form, candidates are expected to undergo interview/screening and successful candidates will be issued Admission Letters. All credentials/results filled in the Application Form are to be presented before or at the interview.
All New students will resume for the 2013/2014 Academic Session on Sunday, 20th October, 2013.
