The group named SmoothBoiz, made up of 25 year-old Victor, Festus (24), David (23) and Peter (25), was one of the highlights of Episode 6 of the show broadcast last weekend. Their superb performance got the three judges saying "Yes, Yes, Yes".
Singing "Little Boy" by Paul Simon, the group got a standing ovation from the audience and left the judges momentarily speechless.

Oh boy, this is what it is all about, this is why we are here," Onyeka declared. Rockstone said of the group, "You are blessed. Talent! Amazing!" M.I. also shared their sentiments. Shaking his head in admiration for a few seconds, the rapper stated, "It is a big, big yes for me. See you in the next round."
One of the boys, Victor, stood out not because he was the lead singer. It was rather for his artificial right leg as a result of an incident of a lorry that ran over his leg a few years ago. He now uses a prosthesis, and this he says has not affected his determination to make a career in music.
Victor, the rest of the group said, was a major motivation to win the X Factor N24 million prize money. "We want to be able to buy him another prosthesis," they stated.
On the performance of another group named Da Unique Crew, Onyeka declared: "You were running riot. I wasn't moved at all", while Reggie said, "you just messed the song up".
For M.I., it was "a straight no" and that signalled the end of the road for Da Unique Crew in this year's edition of X Factor.
