Job Title: State Programme Officer

PPFN is a national non-government organization promoting Reproductive Health (RH) in Nigeria. As a full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), PPFN has expanded the scope of its programs beyond family planning to cover broad reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.
Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the implementation of and support to state programs to strengthen community support and increase in SRH services in line with the PPFN strategic plan at the states level to advance intercourseual and reproductive health and rights agenda and in meeting the goals of the Global Fund Project.
Requirements:
• Degree in Medicine, Health Sciences, Nursing or RN& RM or equivalent.
• Three years relevant work experience including no less than two years in NGO (preferably in RH).
• Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with key national and international implementing support and donor organization in SRH.
• Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office Suite: MS Words, Excel, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of NGO operations particularly those in reproductive health including family planning, maternal and child health, intercourseual health and women development, program development and management.
• Familiarity with varied socio-cultural issues as they relate to SRH in the country and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and concerns.
