(http://fmi.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/code_of_conduct3-300x183.jpg) Justice Danladi Yakub Umar's convoy was yesterday attacked by armed-bandits in an intense gun battle which lasted for some time, along Keffi-Gitata road, in Nassarawa State.
Justice Danladi Yakub Umar is the Chairman of Code of Conduct Tribunal. He was on his way to Bauchi for an official assignment.
The security officer attached to the pilot car in the convoy displayed rare professional competence at fighting the miscreants, leading to the death of one of the bandits, while others ran into the bush with gunshot wounds.
However, the Chairman and his entourage were safe, without any report of casualty.
